Ricoh Sublimation Printers
Ricoh GXe3300 and GX7700 with SubliJet-R inks.
The Ricoh range of printers offer an alternative to the Epson brand of printers. We have 2 printers available in the Ricoh range and these are explained below.
All the Ricoh printers use ink cartridges filled with Subli-JetR inks rather than using a continuous ink system as offered with Epson printers.
The A3 Ricoh GXe7700 Sublimation Printer offers A4 and A3 size printing and uses a special software package called PowerDriver for sublimation printing (this will be available for FREE download from Sawgrass and is for Windows users.
Mac users can use ICC profiles for colour management with the supported software such as PhotoShop and CorelDraw and these are also available from the download link below)
The sublimation package we offer includes the printer, a full set of Subli-JetR cartridges and the supported colour management software (by download).
The GXe3300N Ricoh printer is an A4 only printer but offers a very low start up cost. This also uses Subli-JetR cartridges and these contain 29ml of ink each as compared to the higher capacity cartridges that are will avaiable for the GXe7700. This new printer is supported with PowerDriver software and comes as a starter kit including the printer, a full set of Subli-JetR cartridges and the PowerDriver software.
The SubliJet-R sublimation cartridges are a high viscosity ink and are exclusively used with the Ricoh printers which offer dramatically improved print speed, lower cost per copy, low-maintenance, energy efficiency, vibrant colours combined with consistency and reliability as never seen before.
The SubliJet-R cartridges are available for the Ricoh GX5050 and GX7000 (same cartridges), the GXe3300N and the GXe7700 printers (use the same lower volume cartridges) and higher capacity cartridges for the GXe7700 are now available.
For existing users of sublimation, one unique feature is the durability of the print-head itself. Ink is ejected with greater force eliminating clogging and time consuming blockages, especially if the printer is not used for prolonged periods.
The printer package is complete with a full set of SubliJet-R cartridges (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) with the GXe7700 (with an option for the 29ml or 60ml capacity cartridges).
The GXe3300N comes complete with the Subli-JetR cartridges as well but these are only available in 29ml size.
The Power Driver Software is supplied free of charge as are the ICC profiles (by download from the link below).

- Note: The Ricoh GXe3350 is NOT recommended for sublimation printing, This printer will not be supported by Ricoh or Sawgrass as soon as sublimation inks are installed. We provide full support ONLY for the Ricoh printers supplied from BMS and this extends to a full 12 month warranty (from Sawgrass) PLUS in the event of failure after 12 months we are still able to offer significantly discounted printing solutions.
